Our Parents' Requirements and Responsibilities...
  • In order to foster respect for authority and as a participant with FCS, parents are to publicly and privately support and actively promote, by both word and deed, student compliance with all rules and requirements of FCS in a manner consistent with the Statement of Faith, Student Conduct Expectations, and FCS Purpose and Philosophy.
  • Parents are required to maintain a balance in academic training to include character and spiritual training.  Parents are required to keep an attendance calendar for each student, reflecting the required minimum number of 175 days.
  • Parents who are unable or unwilling to support and actively promote, by both word and deed, student compliance with all rules and requirements of FCS in a manner consistent with the above Statement of Faith, Student Conduct Expectations, and FCS Purpose and Philosophy may result in their (proposed) student being denied enrollment or may be unenrolled for such inability or unwillingness.
  • Parents serve by teaching enrichment classes on Academy Days (Monday School).  Every Monday of the school year (except specified holidays) is designated as an Academy Day.  The year is grouped in three 8 week sessions.  Mothers and Fathers are encouraged to teach classes that they enjoy teaching and would benefit the students of FCS.
  • Parents are required to stay on campus on Academy days and must volunteer to either teach classes, help in the classes, or monitor the classes.
  • Parents of the graduating seniors work together to provide a graduation ceremony, which includes gowns, presentation of diplomas and a special guest speaker.  A $125 graduation fee is required.
  • Parents help to provide a Promotion ceremony to celebrate the completion of another year and enjoy fellowship together.
  • While we encourage entire families to enroll in FCS, we realize that in some situations, a family may have a child enrolled in a different school situation.  We do not allow for dual enrollment with a charter school or other homeschool program.  Students not enrolled with FCS but belonging to an FCS family are welcome to attend Monday classes WITH their family, and a fee of $5/month will be added to monthly tuition and will apply for the entire year.
  • Medical Forms: Each student (who is or will be 6 yrs old by September 1st) must have on file a school medical examination, immunization record (or waiver) and emergency medical release form.
  • Parents of High School students are required to create and maintain a High School portfolio through their high school career, which must be checked off  by an administrator once a year at Monday School.  Included in the portfolio is a transcript, Proposed Course of Study, Course of study for each subject, and 2 samples for each subject, and the High School Planning Chart.
